The Times reports that the first portable fingerprint-based drug test – developed by Cambridge-based Intelligent Fingerprinting – has gone on sale.  It explains that the new drug screening system detects use of recreational substances in under 10 minutes and costs only a few pounds per test.  Target markets for Intelligent Fingerprinting include prisons, hospitals, coroners and safety-critical workplaces.
