Customers using the older Reader 1000 model and keen to upgrade to the DSR-Plus reader should contact Intelligent Fingerprinting directly to take advantage of this limited time offer

Intelligent Fingerprinting, developers of the world’s first and only portable drug screening system that works by analysing fingerprint sweat, is running a New Year’s promotion to encourage customers to switch to its latest compact and portable drug screening reader – the DSR-Plus. Users of the company’s fingerprint-based drug screening system will be able to take advantage of the reader’s portability, extended battery life and faster cartridge analysis capabilities.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, the latest DSR-Plus reader features a compact and portable specification that enables even simpler and faster drug testing – providing organisations with rapid drug screening support wherever and whenever it’s needed. The DSR-Plus reader has been designed with no moving parts, ensuring resiliency when customers transport it between their different sites.

According to Terry Elvin, Intelligent Fingerprinting’s Head of UK Sales: “a number of organisations are still screening for drugs with our earlier generation Reader 1000 technology, and we’re keen for them all to share the benefits available through our current DSR-Plus reader unit. For the next month we’re offering a highly-competitive switch-out programme that will enable these customers to take their fingerprint-based drug testing to the next level. They will also be able to verify any positive screening results directly through our back-to-the-lab verification service.”

Intelligent Fingerprinting’s DSR-Plus reader provides users with a number of key benefits, including:

·      Easier portable operation – making it simpler for in-house workplace drug screening across multiple locations

·      Extended battery life – with support for a reliable 7.5 hours of operation, making remote mobile screening much more practical

·      Faster drug screen cartridge analysis – taking just ten seconds to analyse each screening cartridge test – 5x faster than previous generation systems

·      Easy-to-use – with touchscreen operation and on-screen results that are clearly visible and simpler to communicate

Fingerprint drug testing works by analysing fingerprint sweat to screen for recent use of drugs such as cannabis, cocaine, opiates and methamphetamine. The portable nature of the system means that HR teams can conduct simple, non-intrusive testing anytime and almost anywhere, with the in-house facility helping to serve as a deterrent –  encouraging employees to adhere to Health & Safety policies.

Fingerprint-based drug testing – how it works
Intelligent Fingerprinting’s drug testing system features a small, tamper-evident drug screening cartridge onto which ten fingerprint sweat samples are collected, in a process which takes less than a minute. The Intelligent Fingerprinting portable analysis unit then reads the cartridge and provides a positive or negative result on-screen for all drugs in the test in ten minutes.
